September 9 – October 2, 2022: Dracula
Lucy Seward, whose father is the doctor in charge of an British sanitorium, has been attacked by a mysterious illness. Dr. Van Helsing, a specialist, believes that the girl is the victim of a vampire, a sort of ghost that goes about at night sucking blood from its victims. The vampire is at last found to be a certain Count Dracula, whose ghost is finally laid to rest in a striking and novel manner. The play is intended for all who love thrills in the theater and is appropriate for all groups. Fridays at 8:00 pm, Saturdays at 8:00 pm, and Sundays at 2:30 pm.
November 11 – December 11, 2022: White Christmas
Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former
army commander. With a dazzling score featuring well-known standards including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean,” and the perennial title song, White Christmas is an uplifting musical worthy of cheer at any time of year. Fridays at 8:00 pm, Saturdays at 8:00 pm,
and Sundays at 2:30 pm.
January 13 – February 5, 2023: Much Ado About Nothing
An idyllic summer house party has guests playing matchmaker for sweet daughter-of-the-house Hero and dashing Claudio, and more mischievously for former lovers turned bitter enemies Beatrice and Benedick. Misunderstandings threaten to derail the happily-ever-after as scheming Don John and his henchmen savage Hero's reputation. Beatrice and Benedick need to put
aside their verbal sword-play and come together to save the day - aided by the hilarious meddling of Dogberry and Verges, inept clowns - er- constables (these plum comedic roles played by females in this version). Don't miss the witty fireworks as love's path twists and turns and two clever people are tricked into admitting they've been right for each other all along. Fridays at 8:00 pm, Saturdays at 8:00 pm, and Sundays at 2:30 pm.
March 10 – April 2, 2023: The Legend of Georgia McBride
He’s young, he’s broke, his landlord’s knocking at the door, and he’s just found out his wife is going to have a baby. To make matters even more desperate, Casey is fired from his gig as an Elvis impersonator in a run-down, small-town Florida bar. When the bar owner brings in a B-level drag show to replace his act, Casey finds that he has a whole lot to learn about show business—and himself. Fridays at 8:00 pm, Saturdays at 8:00 pm, and Sundays at 2:30 pm.
May 12 – June 4, 2023: Murder on the Orient Express
Just after midnight, a snowdrift stops the Orient Express in its tracks. The luxurious train is surprisingly full for the time of the year, but by the morning it is one passenger fewer. An American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed a dozen times, and his door locked from the inside. Isolated and with a killer in their midst, the passengers rely on detective Hercule Poirot to identify the murderer – in case he or she decides to strike again. Fridays at 8:00 pm, Saturdays at 8:00 pm, and Sundays at 2:30 pm.
2023 Summer Musical
