Local artists Jenn Hilliard and Rodney Godfrey’s joint exhibition, “From Whence We See” opens in Norfolk Arts’ Offsite Gallery at MacArthur Center with a reception on Friday, October 28, 5-8pm. The event and gallery are free and open to the public.
Jenn Hilliard is a mixed media artist whose style swings from realistic to suggestive, though always recognizable. She has a bone deep, squishy love for mythology & folklore which are perhaps her heaviest influences. It's a rare piece that doesn't hearken back to some old tale she once read.

Rodney Godfrey states, "The works in this exhibition serve to communicate a unity. A place where things come together. Yin & Yang. Adam & Eve. Duality (Plurality). The reality we see depends on whether or not we allow the union."
