The Hermitage Museum & Gardens and ROŪGE: Theater Reinvented are proud to announce their 9th Annual Immersive Experience Series: Pride & Prejudice & Dragons.
This year’s event transforms the elegance of Jane Austen’s Regency-era England into a thrilling fantasy adventure where romance meets dragon-slaying quests. Choose your own path as the story unfolds through evocative movement and interactive storytelling in Pride & Prejudice & Dragons, an interactive theatrical experience where guests will step into the grand halls of a lavish setting to engage with beloved characters—now reimagined as sword-wielding, spell-casting adventurers.
With the guidance of expert Dungeon Masters, audience members will shape the story’s outcome, navigating duels, alliances, and a climactic Regency ball where fate, magic, and romance intertwine. Tickets are selling quickly, and space is limited - don’t miss this extraordinary blend of literature, adventure, and theatrical magic.

About the Hermitage Museum and Gardens
The Hermitage Museum & Gardens is an early 20th-century Arts-and-Crafts estate located on the shore of the Lafayette River in Norfolk, Virginia. The Hermitage features a nationally recognized art collection spanning 5,000 years, contemporary exhibition galleries, the newly renovated Goode Family Visual Arts School, and 12 acres of gardens and grounds that offer art and culture to the community. Operating as a museum since 1937, the Hermitage became the region’s only Smithsonian affiliate in 2014 and earned accreditation from the American Alliance of Museums in 2017. The Hermitage launched its contemporary exhibition program in 2014, showcasing emerging and acclaimed national and international artists, often for
the first time in Hampton Roads. Exhibitions have welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors to the museum for unique art experiences, lectures, and educational programming. In addition to its exhibitions, the Hermitage annually partners with community artists and organizations to produce the popular Sunsets on the River Concert Series, the Hermitage Handmade Festival, and the Immersive Theater Series.
Operating as a free admission museum since 2020, the grounds and museum are open to the public Tuesday-Sunday, 10 am - 5 pm.
