Williamsburg City Council members make decisions that affect all city residents, visitors, and businesses. Decisions that affect downtown neighborhoods and development are among the issues to be discussed at a “Meet the Williamsburg City Council Candidates Forum” on Monday, September 12, 2022 from 6:00-7:00PM at the Scotland Street Downtown library auditorium. Doors open at 5:30. The four candidates running for two positions — Stacy Kern-Scheerer, Ted Maslin, Rick Overy, and Doug Pons — will take questions regarding downtown and neighborhood issues. City Registrar Tina Reitzel also will answer questions about the election process. The Forum is sponsored by the Burns Lane Residents Alliance and the Downtown Neighborhood Alliance.
