Cecil and Carlos are building a new house for themselves, but strange occurrences and ghostly encounters are plaguing the construction process. It's probably nothing. After all, how could a house be haunted before it's even done being built? Popular otherworldly podcast Welcome to Night Vale brings their stand-alone live show, The Haunting of Night Vale, to the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts for the first time this spring.

The Langley Federal Credit Union Concert Series presents Welcome to Night Vale: The Haunting of Night Vale on Wednesday, March 1 at 7:30 PM. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, October 21 at 10 AM and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or by visiting the Sandler Center Box Office located at 201 Market Street, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. Tickets are priced at $29, $34, and $39, plus applicable fees.

Welcome to Night Vale is a twice-monthly podcast in the style of community updates for the small desert town of Night Vale, featuring local weather, news, announcements from the Sheriff's Secret Police, mysterious lights in the night sky, dark hooded figures with unknowable powers, and cultural events. The Haunting of Night Vale is a story that will never be told on the podcast and the live show will bring the audience into the story in surprising and thrilling ways – a unique experience that patrons can't get from listening to the podcast at home.

"With its uncanny blend of the macabre and the mundane, the news out of Night Vale sounds like what might occur if Stephen King or David Lynch was a guest producer at your local public radio station." – The New York Times
