Williamsburg, VA – Williamsburg Parks and Recreation promises an afternoon of “tail-

waggin’ fun” at the annual Canine Carnival.

The event is slated from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022, at Quarterpath Park, 202

Quarterpath Road. The day includes free pet caricatures, dog-related vendors,

rescues, as well as seeing how fast your pooch can run in the Radar Run! Come out

with your leashed furry friends and visit more than 25 vendors.

We invite all pups and pooches to don their most creative costume and strut their stuff

for our costume contests! Prizes for most original costume and best duo costume.

Judging will begin promptly at 2 p.m. and Nautical Dog will award prizes to the winners.

(Tail-wagging is strongly encouraged!)

Back by popular demand are the Wiener Dog Races! Adorable Dachshunds will race to

the finish line down our 40′ track. To the victor go the spoils! Nautical Dog will award

prizes to winning dogs in our Little Links, Bratwurst and Senior Schnitzel racing

categories.
