Little Theater of Norfolk Presents Archetypes for the Actor

A workshop facilitated by Carolyn Boucher

Norfolk, Virginia – Little Theater of Norfolk/Carolyn Boucher will present Archetypes for the Actor/Singer, taking place on zoom on 2/21/21, and featuring special guests.

LTN is proud to bring Archetypes for the Actor/Singer to the Norfolk community for the first time. Archetypes for the Actor/Singer will take place on zoom and is suitable for artists of all kinds and anyone with an open heart and mind ages 16 and up. Wear comfortable clothing and have your journal and pen handy. In this hour and a half workshop participants will be led through imaginative journeys of archetypes we all know and love.

“Carolyn’s movement skills are excellent and have become very highly developed through her Butoh work,” says Janet Rodgers, Professor Emerita at Virginia Commonwealth University and author of Acting and Singing with Archetypes. “Artistically, she is looking toward creating a space where creative workshops offer theatre, movement, voice and the visual arts, allowing for all of these disciplines to come together to create living art.”

To learn more about Carolyn's workshop, you can listen to this recent episode of LTN's Ghostlight podcast.
