Pembroke Realty Group is pleased to announce Pembroke Square Associates’ joint venture with Castle Development Partners to bring a market-leading multi-family living community to Pembroke, in the heart of Virginia Beach. The multi-family community will be located above the former Stein Mart - with the ground level featuring retail shops and a parking garage. The community will include apartment living units ranging from 550-1,800 square feet. Residents will benefit from numerous sought-after features, including a saltwater infinity pool, a 2,500-square-foot fitness center complete with a yoga studio and functional fitness area, a 7,000-square-foot clubroom and entertainment center, a rooftop terrace with a resident dining room, and co-working office spaces on each floor.

The Virginia Beach community can expect to see groundbreaking for the multi-family living community in March 2023 and is set to open by spring 2025, according to Pembroke Realty Group, Pembroke Square Associates and Castle Development Partners. Mitchell Matthews Architects is the project’s architect and Kimley-Horn will provide the civil engineering services.
The property’s current tenants - American Red Cross, Bahama Breeze, Coastal Edge, DSW, EyeCare Optometry, J.Crew Factory, Jason’s Deli, Kohl’s, Latitude Climbing + Fitness, Nordstrom Rack, Old Navy, Rack Room Shoes, REI, Romano’s Macaroni Grill, Smokey Bones, Target, The Fresh Market, Tire Choice, Truist and Walgreens - will remain open throughout construction and redevelopment.
