Norfolk Festevents Announces New Series of Virtual Content

Norfolk, VA – With the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and its effects on large events, Norfolk Festevents, Ltd. is excited to announce a new series of virtual content featuring a behind-the-scenes perspective of Norfolk Festevents, its partners, and the City of Norfolk.


The new content includes FE TV, a Regional Live Music Calendar, the Inside Festevents Podcast, and additional interactive virtual experiences. The content begins this weekend on Friday, August 14, 2020.

FE TV, a YouTube-based video series, showcases all of the elements of a Norfolk Festevents festival in a video feature format. Each episode explores a specific partner or sponsor of Norfolk Festevents through interviews, facility tours, and behind-the-scenes footage. From a look inside a warehouse of old festival décor to an interview with a local top chef, FE TV provides a unique vantage point of Norfolk’s festival scene.

For a one-stop source for all of your favorite local musicians’ live gigs, Norfolk Festevents will be creating an aggregated Regional Live Music Calendar. The calendar will be updated daily and will feature a day-by-day breakdown of when and where your favorite local musicians are playing. The calendar can be viewed online at Festevents.org.

The Inside Festevents Podcast, presented by Gather Norfolk, serves as another avenue to learn more about the festival industry and all of the people and partners who make Norfolk Festevents and its festivals possible. The debut episode, to be released this week, is set to feature Festevents CEO Karen Scherberger and examines the creation and history of Norfolk Festevents.
