ODURep & ODU Opera, in collaboration with Warehouse of Theatre, present Working, A Musical, celebrating the essential worker.

Working, nominated for six Tony Awards, paints a vivid portrait of the people the world too often takes for granted. Working is a musical exploration of people from all walks of life; by exploring these 'invisible' professions we can find some core truths about humanity, through the ways each person relates to their work.

Working is FREE, LIVE, and OUTDOORS, at Brock Commons - 1040 W 47th St, at the north end of Monarch Way. There are both Drive-In and Walk-In spots available for each performance.

• Performances are Thurs-Sun, April 15-18, at 8pm each night.

• To attend, you must reserve a free ticket IN ADVANCE: http://ODUArtsTix.com

Social distancing and masks are always required at ODU.

• Walk-in audience are reserved in pods of up to 6 people – bring your own folding chairs or blankets.

Based on Studs Terkel's best-selling book, Working was adapted by Nina Faso and Stephen Schwartz, with additional contributions by Gordon Greenberg and songs by Craig Carnelia, James Taylor, Mary Rodgers, Micki Grant, Stephen Schwartz, Susan Birkenhead, and Lin-Manuel Miranda.

The creative team for this production included Katherine Hammond (director), Brian Nedvin (music director), Ricardo Melendez (choreographer), Woody Robinson (set and light designer), Lee Smith (projection designer), Justin McLawhorn (sound designer), Meredith Magoun (costume designer) and Jim Lyden (technical director), with Chris Hanna producing.

Working (2012 Revised Version) is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.com.
